These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and any associated platforms, tools, or communications (collectively, the “Services”). By visiting our website (northalcleaning.com), booking a service, or otherwise interacting with our company, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should refrain from using our website or services.

These Terms apply to all users of our Services, including but not limited to:

  • Clients booking one-time or recurring cleanings
  • Short-term rental hosts utilizing turnover services
  • Site visitors submitting inquiries or browsing information
  • Any other individual accessing content or communications from North Alabama Cleaning & Prep Co.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms at our discretion. Updates will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Use of Our Website

By accessing or using our website, you agree to do so in a lawful, respectful, and responsible manner. Our website is provided for the purpose of learning about our services, submitting inquiries, scheduling cleanings, managing bookings, and communicating with North Alabama Cleaning & Prep Co.

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes only and agree not to:

  • Access or attempt to access any account, data, or system that you are not authorized to use
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, malware, harmful code, or disruptive scripts

3. Booking & Cancellations

All appointments must be scheduled through our official online booking platform. Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate property information at the time of booking, including the correct number of bedrooms and bathrooms, square footage, pet presence, access instructions, and any special cleaning needs. Failure to disclose accurate details may result in rescheduling, service delays, additional charges, or incomplete cleanings.

We understand that unforeseen changes in plans can occur. However, to maintain fairness to our staff and accommodate other clients, we enforce the following cancellation policy:

  • 50% of the total service fee will be charged for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
  • 100% of the total service fee will be charged for cancellations made within 3 hours of the appointment or if our cleaning team is unable to access the property at the time of service (e.g., locked doors, no access code, aggressive pets, or other obstructions).

Clients are encouraged to reschedule as early as possible to avoid fees. If a client fails to notify us or cancels repeatedly, we reserve the right to deny future bookings.

By scheduling a service with North Alabama Cleaning & Prep Co., you acknowledge and agree to these booking and cancellation terms.

4. Payments

All payments for services must be made via the secure online platform provided by North Alabama Cleaning & Prep Co. at the time of booking or immediately after service completion.

We reserve the right to place a temporary authorization hold on your payment method prior to service. Final charges will be processed after service is rendered.

Important: If a property is misrepresented or not properly assessed during the booking process (e.g., incorrect number of bedrooms, excessive dirtiness, pet messes not disclosed, or additional square footage), North Alabama Cleaning & Prep Co. reserves the right to apply additional charges to reflect the actual condition and time required to complete the cleaning. These charges will be communicated to the customer before processing.

Late payments or declined transactions may result in service delays or cancellations. Customers are responsible for ensuring valid and updated payment methods are on file.

5. Services & Access

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the property is fully accessible, safe, and ready for cleaning at the scheduled time of service. This includes providing accurate entry instructions (e.g., door codes, keys, or access through front desks), disarming any alarm systems, and securing any pets if applicable.

North Alabama Cleaning & Prep Co. will not be held liable for delays or inability to complete service due to inaccessible properties, locked doors, or the presence of hazardous conditions such as exposed wiring, biohazards, or unsafe environments.

Clients are also responsible for properly securing or storing any valuables or sensitive items prior to service. Our team is not liable for damage to or loss of items that were not clearly declared or properly stored in advance.

For short-term rental clients, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that clean linens, towels, and restocking essentials (such as toiletries or welcome items) are provided and accessible before the cleaning appointment. If these items are not available, restocking or laundry services may be subject to additional fees or result in incomplete turnover service.

By booking a service, the client acknowledges and agrees to these access and preparation requirements.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

At North Alabama Cleaning & Prep Co., we are committed to delivering high-quality service and strive for 100% customer satisfaction with every cleaning. We take pride in our work and stand behind the quality of our services.

If you are not satisfied with the results of your cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will review your concerns and, if warranted, schedule a re-clean of the affected areas at no additional cost.

To qualify for a re-clean:

  • The issue must be reported within 24 hours of the original service
  • The property must be in the same condition as it was at the time of the original cleaning
  • Photos or a clear description of the issue may be requested to assist in resolution
  • Re-cleans are limited to the specific areas of concern, not the entire property

Please note that our satisfaction guarantee does not apply to:

  • Properties that were misrepresented during booking (e.g., larger than described, excessive clutter, undisclosed pet messes)
  • Situations where access was not properly provided or instructions were unclear
  • Post-cleaning issues caused by other parties after our team has completed service

We reserve the right to deny re-clean requests that fall outside of our policy guidelines or are determined to be unreasonable or abusive.

Our goal is to make things right, and to earn your trust every time you book with us.

7. Limitations of Liability

North Alabama Cleaning & Prep Co. will perform all services with reasonable care and professionalism. However, by booking a service, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following limitations of liability:

We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or deterioration to any furniture, fixtures, finishes, flooring, appliances, or surfaces that may become more apparent during or after cleaning.
  • Damage to unsecured or fragile items, including but not limited to artwork, electronics, glassware, or decor, unless such items were clearly disclosed and proper handling instructions were provided in advance.
  • Loss or damage due to inaccessible areas or client-provided tools, products, or instructions.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to emotional distress, inconvenience, property devaluation, or reputational harm resulting from missed appointments, rescheduling, delays, or service disruptions beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, power outages, staff illness).
  • Loss of income or business opportunities, including in short-term rentals, due to cancellations, incomplete turnovers, or delays in service.
  • Issues arising from third-party service providers, such as property management companies, key exchange services, or concierge vendors acting on behalf of the client.

In any circumstance, our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service appointment in question.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on this website (northalcleaning.com), including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video, layout, design, and software, are the exclusive property of North Alabama Cleaning & Prep Co. or its licensed content providers. This content is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other intellectual property laws in the United States and internationally.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, transmit, or create derivative works from any part of the website or its content without prior written consent from North Alabama Cleaning & Prep Co.

Unauthorized use of our intellectual property, including use of our logo, branded graphics, or proprietary content for commercial purposes, is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
